The first couple of days were spent traveling. We left the gate around 8:40pm Pacific Standard Time and landed in Cape Town, South Africa at 12:45 local time. We flew for around 23-25 hours. Something like that. Suffice it to say I was glad that I didn’t have to sit in another uncomfortable airplane seat.

We put our stuff down, cleaned up a bit, and went to grab a bite to eat. We ended up going to the V&A Waterfront. There was a group of people dancing in the courtyard. Take a look!

To the right of where these people were performing we stopped and had a burger. This was the sign that sealed the deal for me đŸ™‚

after that we grabbed an Uber and went to Table Mountain to see an awesome view of Cape Town

that night after we got back everyone was pretty tired but I was still good to go and I hadn’t eaten dinner. I decided to go to a place called Middle Eastern Food Bazar which was a mixture of different middle eastern foods. I couldn’t figure out what to do so I had to ask someone what was up. He told me that I choose a number that correlates with a food choice, I go to the cashier and tell them what I want and pay, I take my pay stub to the vendor and they make my food. This place was really hot and loud. Take a look!

I was too hungry and started to eat but I had a Chicken Shawarma with Roti and Fries
