Today we flew to Port Elizabeth and arrived in the afternoon. Marcel picked us up from the airport and transferred us to Jeffrey’s bay where we checked into Ocean’s Blu and had some food.
Shortly after we ate we went to rent boards and get a thicker wetsuit. I had brought a 2mm with short sleeves and I’m sure that would have been fine. I actually used my suit and we surfed Kitchen Windows which was really windy and since it was offshore it was hard to see and get into
I was really sick while surfing and I shouldn’t have been out there. The pressure on my stomach was causing issues and I ended up taking over an hour nap after we were done. I went to dinner but didn’t eat which if you know me that’s pretty uncharacteristic. That night I was getting worse and I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to make it on Safari two days from now.
