Today Sean and I went to get some breakfast prior to heading out. We went to a place right down the street from where we were although I don’t recall the name. I had eggs, tomato, spinach, and mushrooms which was pretty good with a latte and a smoothie which I didn’t take a picture of.

We went back to the hotel, grabbed Pat & Sarah and went to District Six Museum which showed the history of forced gentrification of the inhabitants of that area. I had hoped to do Robben Island as well to see Nelson Mandela’s jail but we later found out that weather was an issue the two days we were there.

We called Tavonga and he took us from the District Six Museum to the Cape Point, the Cape of Good Hope which was the southern most point of South Africa and the point where the Indian and Atlantic oceans met, saw penguins, and got to kayak near them. I thought I had downloaded the kayaking pictures but it seems like I forgot to do that.

Later that night after we went back to the hotel, put our stuff down, then we went to a traditional African dinner at Gold restaurant which included South African Ostrich Biltong and Pepperdew Salad, South African Roosterkoek, Cape Malay Pea and Potato Samosa’s, and South African Cardamom Ice Cream to name a few.
