Today I started my day by getting up early and taking some photographs. I’ve only been here three days and every morning / evening has had incredible colors. My only regret is that I was shooting in large jpg but that’ll teach me to not only check my settings but to shoot more often 🙂

After I was done it was breakfast time which I was excited for (as I always am when it’s food time) and I had the Surfer’s Breakfast which consists of 2 Eggs, Grilled Tomato, Mushrooms, Baked beans, and Toast. I also had some yogurt with fruits and cheese and crackers.

A little after 9 Etiene picked me up and we went to Magna Tubes. The swell had dropped a bit so it wasn’t as good as yesterday but it was still fun. I would put it in the 1-3′ range with an occasional 4′. This is the break

Etiene took me back to the surf camp, I unpacked my gear and rinsed it out, took a couple more pictures, then prepared myself to take a journey into town. I had no idea how long it would take to get where I was going…but then again I had no idea where I was going except to the quicksilver store where they had a surf museum that was super cool!! I saw an old Kelly Slater board that was signed by him and other memorabilia that was awesome!! Take a look.

I wandered around looking for food and found this cool cafe named Tasty Table. It was down the main road and was exactly what I was looking for!! I had a combo plate of Hake and calamari which was awesome and to top it off a cup of hot chocolate

While I was at the cafe there was a torrential downpour that I didn’t capture but I got the aftermath.

Thank god for cell reception and taxi service!!

To top off the evening I went to Nina’s (a little restaurant in town about 5 minutes walk from the camp) and had a butternut squash soup and Mediterranean salad which was excellent!!
