Friday, April 20, 2012 – Happy 420 and welcome to the end of another great week!! In my search to make my images noise free and technically excellent I came across a book by David Nightingale called “Practical HDR, Second Edition: A complete guide to creating High Dynamic Range images with your Digital SLR (Handbook of the Philosophy of Science)” that I had to have. I only read a couple of pages last night but what I have been thinking is that I should do minor adjustments via Adobe Camera Raw or ACR before merging my photos in Photomatix. This should have been a no brainer but this has me excited for a photo that I took recently at Point Vicente up in Palos Verdes. Just merging the photos and toning the image has produced stunning results but is not useable in any way. I am sure that I will have an example on Monday that shows a before and after integrating ACR into the workflow. Have a great day and a fun and relaxing weekend!!
