Wednesday, May 2, 2012 – Good morning and welcome to the middle of another great week!! So the Practical HDR book I am reading…yeah I skipped ahead and looked at processing a single RAW file. To my surprise it was nothing special. I went ahead and made my adjustments in ACR, saved my .tif file, and opened that .tif in Photomatix. I saved an output of the tone mapped file and further processed that in Photoshop. Here is what I came up with.
If you go in my galleries you will see the same picture but much darker. I am tempted to say I like this one better however there is still one issue that I am not sure about. If you can provide feedback and lemme know what you think. Also I went to visit one of my photography professors, Susan Ste. Marie. It was good to see her as well as some students that I have taken classes with in the past. It reminds me that I need to stay connected with them and the projects they are working on.
