Today I woke up at 5:30 and had some coffee before departing to cloudbreak. It was still a little dark when we left but the sun started to rise as we got in the water. It was a really good session and I got some fun insiders. Just wish I could do a round house cutback. Mine feels terrible when I attempt to do it. I was also the recipient of some souvenirs. I didn’t realize how hard it is to take a picture with your left hand when your right handed.
After we came back Taylor helped me disinfect my wounds then I had some breakfast which was scrambled eggs with toast since I forgot to order before I left. Honestly I was just grateful to have something so I had that, some coffee, and a couple of muffins.
After that I just chilled for the rest of the day. I took a nap, read a little, had lunch, checked my laptop which worked just fine, and played some video games. I also took some time to update my personal and professional statement for CSULB which I’ve been leaving to do!
When dinner rolled around I ate with Brett, Bryce, Wes, and Tom. Brett and Bryce are father and son respectively and Wes is from Torrance which I was surprised to find out. He is a knee boarder and knows quite a few people in our area which is pretty cool.
After dinner I went to lie down and I talked to Tom for close to an hour before we crashed out for the night. It was another good day!
