Today I was pretty much back to normal. We got up at 6:30am (or should I say that I did) and started to get ready when everyone else did. We didn’t get out the door till past 7 but that’s ok. We surfed at Anchor Point again and initially it wasn’t that crowded but started to get that way really quickly. It was fairly consistent and fun. I think we surfed around two to three hours then we came back to the camp to have some breakfast.

Ilyas was glad we came back as he was saying that when it was just Geordy and Spencer that they would want to surf and not break for food. I had some coffee, two bowls of cereal, half a crepe with Nutella and banana, and a piece of bread with some egg on it. After our meal we chilled for a bit then Ilyas took Jax to grab his stuff from the hostel and bring it I dr this way. I wasn’t sure if he was staying at the villa or the apartments. Either way it was on the other side of town. On the way back Ilyas brought his dog which was a four month old Siberian husky. I love those dogs. They have such great eyes!!

After that was all squared away we went to take a look at the surf and some of the guys were convinced they were going to surf at La Source. Not that I am that good or that conditions need to be that clean but the waves were pretty small, it was inconsistent, and there were a ton of people. Jax started feeling a bit sick so I looked for Ilyas to see if he could take our friend back. We went with them as we didn’t want to stand around in the sun and also took a trip to drop off his dog.

We went to take a look at Anchor’s and while it didn’t lol that good there were only three people out. Well that changed pretty quickly and soon enough there were almost 40 people out if not more. For a wave thy was also not that big and inconsistent I decided to get out f the water. It wasn’t worth hurting someone else or myself.

We watched the sun set then we came back to the camp. I spoke with Lim for a couple of minutes, rinsed and hung my wetsuit, then went upstairs. I checked on my laundry and it had not been finished. Good thing I chose today and not Friday. I took a shower then scored to see what tripadvisor rated highest. Number two is Restaurant Le Spot and was just down the way. From the apple maps which it was defaulting to and not google maps it was showing it was at the edge of town. I thought that was a little weird so I asked someone in town. They seemed to have no idea what I was talking about but a passerby was able to point me in the right direction.

It was upstairs which I wasn’t expecting. I ordered a margherita pizza which was just a plain cheese pizza but it came out fast and was pretty good. I paid 35 dirhams for it plus I overtipped and paid the guy an extra 10 dirhams. That was the best and fastest service I have gotten so far and was on par with what you would expect in Southern California.

After that I walked around in search of a dessert place that also had coffee. The last place I looked at had just about everything I wanted but the guy said they were closing for the night and that was at 8 or 8:30. I can’t remember the exact time. That’s early even by my standards… 🙂

I walked around and found a guy that sold ice cream and I had something akin to an ice cream sandwich and a nestle bar. I bought one more thing of water for my last day and headed back to the camp.
