Breakfast – I had coffee, orange juice, and not much more. I’m still pretty full from last night’s pollo a la brassa
Tour – we began by going to Pablo Seminario’s studio and watching a video of his works/life. After that we got to see the process of making the clay all the way to pre and post firing. Near the end of the tour we got to meet the artist and see what he is working on currently. Pretty cool!!
Lunch/Train Ride – was boxed and it consisted of a quiche, chips a hoy cookies, chips, carrot cake, and a tangerine that I’m saving for later. While we ate we took an hour and a half train ride that lasted for almost two hours due to another train having complications. Overall it was an enjoyable train ride
Machu Picchu – after we got off the train and gave our night bags to the porter we departed on a bus to Machu Picchu. Oddly enough we needed to show our passport to board the bus. It took about 20-30 minutes to get to the top and then we needed to show our passport again before passing the gate. I was kinda surprised to say the least. We did have a great tour that lasted around three hours. When leaving we did get a stamp on our passport which was pretty cool!!
Dinner – before going back to the hotel we went to Restaurant Ayasqa where I had a pumpkin soup with croutons to start, salmon with potatoes, and fruit salad with sorbet. Take a look!!
Craig, I am very impressed with your detail! I am still catching up on my journal! Thanks for the info
I think that I omitted a lot of things but I think it’s always a balance of writing too much as opposed to just going by what you feel in the moment and going with that. You should blog!! I would love to hear your experience as opposed to mine 🙂 Hope that you are well and I look forward to seeing your photos!!
