I didn’t have any notes from Day 6 so I’m gonna have to wing it. What I remember of this day is that we went to Wadi Rum, rode a jeep through the desert, took some pictures, and did a camel ride that was for the most part uncomfortable. Here’s a picture of Pat riding a camel.

After we left this region we went to Aqaba to have lunch at the Captain’s Restaurant which was ok. I had fish and I think Pat had the mixed grill. Here’s a picture of my meal

Because we were running late we decided to do an hour on the glass bottom boat instead of the two hours we had previously agreed on. We picked up some water, met up with the boat and checked out the Red Sea. An interesting fact was that the salinity of the water was 3.5% which was a lot saltier than our seas. Here’s a picture of us floating around.

After that we had a long trek back to Amman which was going to take around four hours. We took the more scenic route which took us along the entire stretch of the Dead Sea and we stopped to take pictures of the sunset which was gorgeous!!

We confirmed with Basel that he would take us to the airport leaving at 3am the next day ending our trip in Jordan 🙁
