Wednesday, July 6, 2011 – As some of you know I recently traveled to Bali in Indonesia from June 12-26th. What an experience and not one that I will soon forget. This place has a ton of reef breaks which I love. While there I surfed Uluwatu (Racetracks, Middles, and Temples), Padang Padang Right and Left, Impossibles (which almost killed me twice), Bingin, Dreamland, and Balangan. I met some amazing people and as I started to take my cab to the airport I was both happy to go home and sad that I had to leave as I felt my surfing could progress by leaps and bounds in a place like this. While I was there the weather and waves were inclement but I caught a couple that were just awesome!! Haven’t gotten barrelled yet but I hope that someday soon it will happen. Here are a couple of pics that are my top pics. The first is from Balangan from a great vantage point. I’m still not sure if I am done post processing this as well as the others. The second is from Uluwatu looking a little north from a place called Edge Bar. And finally the last photo is from Rock Bar. I really love this and am very proud. This was shot in ISO 100, f/22, and an 8 second exposure. Hope you enjoy them!!
