Friday, April 6, 2012 – Good morning and welcome to the end of another great week!! While walking with my dad and our dog snoopy I was thinking about what to blog about and I thought about identity. If you know a little about me you could say that I am a student, photographer, and surfer. My question is does this accurately reflect who I am? I would have to say yes as I strive to be a lifelong learner, someone who pours his energies into the activities he loves, and an individual who seeks balance both physically and mentally. But wait…I don’t want these surface attributes to be the only thing that reflects who I am. I also want my identity to reflect someone who has faith in his higher power, seeks to help others, gives back to his community, and realizes his potential in every aspect. My hope is that these shine through as you get to know who I am. Oh…I also wanted to mention that tonight at the El Camino College Library there is an opening reception for the Photography students and also Andrea Micallef’s 2D students. It starts at 6pm and ends at 9pm. I hope to see some of you there and have a great day!!
