Thursday, October 11, 2012 – Three blog posts ago I talked about a method called focus stacking.  What this does is it takes exposures and “stacks” them using layer masks to take the “focused” parts of each image and makes one critically sharp image all the way from front to back.  Now I will agree that in the background it isn’t critically sharp but it was great to try a new method.  Compare the two images and let me know which one you like best.  I won’t tell you which one is which and see what you respond to 🙂

and the second one 🙂
