Today I woke up around 4:45am so we could be on the road by 5 or 5:15 latest. Our destination was only 10 minutes away but this break gets really crowded so the earlier we got there the better. Take a look at the picture I took before we surfed.
We went to La Bocana which was supposed to be a left. From what I saw it looked like a mushy A frame. I don’t think anyone was really excited about surfing here but Joe wanted to stay so we left it up to him to make the decision if we were going to stay or go somewhere else. I kinda figured since we were there we should just stay. And that’s what we did ?
When we first got in it was really good!! I caught quite a few waves before it started to get crowded which meant there was maybe 20 guys out ?
After that we came back to the hotel and grabbed some food. I had a crepe with fruits which was really good. Take a look
I chilled for a bit and the guys went for another surf at La Paz which was just out front. I thought I was going to go on a date at 3 so I relaxed a bit and tried to get some sleep. Turned out that she never showed and I’m kinda glad she didn’t. She works at the hotel and was worried that her bosses might see us together.
At 4 or 4:30 we surfed out front, first at La Paz and later at Punta Roca. I was glad that we finally surfed Punta Roca as this was the primary reason I wanted to come down here. Unfortunately it wasn’t that good and I didn’t catch anything to speak of.
We rinsed off at the pool then headed to dinner. Tonight I was craving red meat so I had the steak with chorizo. It was pretty good!! Take a look
After that I think we watched the olympics in my room but I don’t really remember 🙂
