Today we woke up at 5am so we could leave around 5:30. We had planned on going back to El Pimental and we were in the water a little after 6ish (I think).
This was another good session with a handful of rights and lefts!! We surfed for about an hour and a half then chilled and watched Emilio and some of the locals surf. When Emilio got out he told us his aunt was going to make us some fresh grilled fish. Yum ?
We waited about 20 minutes and we had grilled fish, some flat bread, and jalapeños. Man it was awesome!! We also had some Coca Cola which she purchased from a vendor who was passing by. It was a really nice gesture and we made sure to tip her accordingly.
We went back to the hotel hoping we could get a smoothie to cool down only to find out the electricity was out ?. So…we spent a greater part of the day in the pool cooling off.
At around 3 or 3:15 we went for another surf. This time to El Zonte. Pat really liked this place but I didn’t get a good sense if Joe liked it.
We went back to the hotel and thank god the electricity was on!! We hit the pool for a bit then grabbed some food. Tonight it was rice with calamari, shrimp, and chorizo. Man it was pretty good!! Take a look
After that we watched the olympics in my room and called it an evening around 10. It was a good day!!
