Breakfast – I started with coffee and fruit with yogurt then I moved on to cereal, eggs, sweet potatoes, sausage, and pancakes. The honeydew was amazing!!

Tour – we started at Factoria La Vicunita where we were taught what baby alpaca felt like then we had the opportunity to shop. I found this really cute plush guinea pig for Lexie and some other items for my mom and dad. I am feeling a bit guilty so I might go back to grab something for my brother in law. After that we went to Convento de Santo Domingo where we saw the Sun Gate and the this really cool rock formation that was in between the moon gate and the gate of the stars. Take a look!!

What’s so cool about this rock is that it is one continuous piece and it was molded using only stone tools no steel!! I don’t know about you but I’m amazed!!

Next we went to the Basilica Cathedral where we saw many scenes that had a cedar backing overlayed with gold leaf. Unfortunately we weren’t able to take pictures but it was a beautiful church

Lunch – Terry wanted to have Peruvian food that had a Chinese spin on it so we went to Kion which was pretty close to the Plaza de Armas. I had BBQ pork ribs, Terry and Laura split a chicken chaufa, and Laurie had a pork chaufa. I didn’t think the pork ribs were that amazing but overall the meal was good!! And to top it off we saw the Wong’s and they were gracious enough to buy some wontons for us. Take a look

Dinner – Laurie, Terry, Anne, and I went to Cafe Morena where Laurie, Anne, and I had the Pancetta de Cerdo which was a slow cooked pork belly with tacu tacu. I thought it was pretty good but the hot sauce made it even better. Terry had the mushroom soup which also looked amazing. In addition to my meal I had a banana, passions fruit, and yogurt smoothie which was amazing and a cacao for dessert which consisted of a brownie, almond ice cream, and crushed nuts. The dessert was amazing along with the smoothie. Take a look
