Surf – I woke up at 5:15, suited up, and went out. Man the tide was strong today!! I started near the point and was thrown so far out I couldn’t hold position. I fought it for a good 10-20 minutes then gave up and paddled in and walked back out. My genius ass decided to go past the point which I was sure wasn’t a good idea being that I had never gone that way even when it was sunny and yup it was a bad idea. My right index finger got cut up as well as my right shin…After that I re-thought my strategy and took off closer to the rocks which still was precarious but put me in better position. I caught two decent waves and had to pull out of two others because by that time there were at least 20-30 guys in the water…I decided that I’d call it and I went in. Thanks for the good times Chicama!! What a killer wave. Kinda reminds me of hags

Breakfast – same as it has been…I will be glad to have something different

Lunch – I had two chicken empanada’s and a cappuccino at the airport

Flight – TRU -> LIM – Flight was about an hour, maybe more but it didn’t feel that long

Dinner – once I arrived at residential Miraflores and spoke with Anna, my host she showed me a map of the area and I asked her where I should eat. She recommended Panchito which was right down the street. When I arrived at the restaurant it was packed and I was told the wait was 45 minutes or sit at the bar. I opted for the bar and met two people I was sitting in between Rajesh was on my left and (I can’t remember her name but she was from Colombia) was on my right. Both really nice people that were there for work. I was going to order pork since I didn’t really want seafood or steak but I ended up getting the beef heart which was amazing!! Take a look
